Electromagnetism studies the interactions between electrically charged particles. In The Electric Shocktopus, students manipulate these charges and experiment with how they can affect their environment.
Level design combines aesthetics, planning and knowledge of the physics governing the game. Students can build their own levels and design challenging puzzles and conundrums for their classmates.
Creative thinking is required to pass most of the levels. Simply jumping around will not get students to their goal. Instead, they need to understand and utilize physics in ways that aren’t found in textbooks.
